Maasai Sisters A Project of Creative Visions Fiscal Sponsorship

Educate a girl, empower a generation. Help build the Maasai Sisters Rescue Center.

In 2015, I began filming a documentary in Kajiado, Kenya about an inspirational woman named Lucy Itore who rescues Maasai girls from female genital mutilation (FGM) and early forced marriage.

I have worked closely with Lucy to found a Kenyan NGO called Maasai Sisters, which rescues, educates, and empowers Maasai girls, working to raise a generation free from FGM and child marriage.

We have launched a campaign with my documentary to raise the funds to build The Maasai Sisters Rescue Center. Since 2015, Lucy has rescued over 200+ girls. They currently stay at the boarding school where Lucy teaches and don't have another safe place to call home. The boarding school is over-crowded and under-resourced, and there is a dire need for a full rescue facility to provide the life-saving resources for these Maasai girls.

Donate today to help us purchase the land, build the campus, and officially launch the Maasai Sisters Rescue Center.
